Methods & Mystery

This past month, we put together  a video about my methods and process for landscape painting in general and the Lennox Woods work in particular. Hope you enjoy! If you do, please consider sharing it with the share buttons at the bottom of the post. Thanks for watching!

  3. Deborah, this video is beautiful. Your explanation of your painting process is very informative and inspiring. Having seen your paintings I can say you successfully achieve what you set out to paint - the subjective mystery of nature. You draw us in and we enjoy your interpretation of nature.

  4. A truely beautiful video, full of the sights and sounds of the ancient forest. Your words describe so well the painting and drawing process. It is a chilly evening here in the highlands I am visiting a friend in Sutherland in a landscape of many kinds of old trees and forests, very similar to the landscape you depict in your paintings.

  5. Deborah, What a treat it is to watch this beautiful video and hear you describe the feelings you have for nature and the Lennox Woods in particular. Having taken part in your online classes on painting Trees, Skies and Water I know the depth of your knowledge and feeling for the subjects you paint. I do wonder when you have time to work on your huge canvases for your solo show? Your painting process is not exactly a speedy one.....
